Estudio de las singularidades del Derecho de la Unión Europea respecto del Derecho Internacional, así como aquellas que lo alejan del mismo: desde la supranacionalidad hasta la eficacia directa pasando por el principio de cooperación leal. También se detalla la actitud del Derecho de la Unión Europea frente a la primacía del Derecho Internacional. El estudio tiene presente no sólo la perspectiva del Derecho estatal -haciendo del método comparado (en relación con los distintos sistemas jurídicos que conviven en la Unión) sino igualmente la del Derecho Internacional.
Se mencionan también las aportaciones del Derecho de la UE al Derecho internacional: a la teoría de la Organización internacional, en el campo de los mecanismos de producción y aplicación de las normas y

Study of the singularities of the Law of the European Union with respect to International Law, as well as those that take it away from it: from supranationality to direct effectiveness, passing through the principle of loyal cooperation. It also details the attitude of European Union Law against the primacy of International Law. The study takes into account not only the perspective of State Law - making the comparative method (in relation to the different legal systems that coexist in the Union) but also that of International Law.
The contributions of EU law to international law are also mentioned: to the theory of the international organization, in the field of mechanisms for the production and application of standards and
international obligations, developments in the field of protection of nationals abroad ... [-]
