dc.description.abstract | With the development of new technologies and its implementation in today’s society, Information and communication technologies has become a huge influence in the way in which speech communities use written language. Thus, this paper has two purposes: first, present an analysis of the use of ICT’s in an educational environment and, second, reflect about the positive influence these new technologies has on the learning of English. Different software and visual devices such as Socrative and an Interactive whiteboard are selected to improve the quality of the language learning in the classroom. To complement the study, a plan of activities will be provided using the new software to show the real value that these ICT’s can have on an educative environment. To conclude, it needs to be mention the positive effects of technologies, as they act as a complementary motivational tool to the lesson imparted in the classroom, making a huge improvement in the results obtained during the learning of a new language. For this reasons, Information and Communication Technologies needs to be considered as a new pedagogical method to be applied. | ca_CA |
