| ca_CA |
dc.description.abstract | Since the beginning of the fashion industry, fashionistas had to wait a month for specialed magazines to published the different trends that the brands and designers offered. Nowadays, Instagram has changed the routine, we can stream the Fashion Week show regardless of the country you are in order to discover the new models that big designers will soon offer. This new system breaks the line between the exclusive fashion community and the general audience: fashion has become a more accessible world to the most passionate people of this world. Moreover, this new horizon allows them to share their work on the platform or engage conversations with their favourite brands. Currently, Instagram is one of the largest portals of artistic and professional expression; photographers, illustrators, designers, writers and so many others publish their creations independently of their work and inspiration. The millennials are the main users of this social network, also known as the digital generation, that engages most of their relationships and activities through the screen. Therefore, they are creating new codes and symbols through the different social networks, which allows the brands to communicate through new and different channels. The fashion industry, specifically the Gucci brand, a pioneer in the digital revolution, has been taking advantage of this new community and has launched campaigns in Instagram where the millennials were the main collaborators. | ca_CA |
