Healthy workplace and healthy organizations. Case of study: B.P. España

Abstract

Today, organizations are increasingly concerned about the well-being of their workers, while they are also more aware of this aspect. For this reason, research on this subject is increasing in parallel with its growing importance. The main objective of this study has been to analyze the factors that influence this aspect and the organizational practices that help to improve it. For this we have made a theoretical review of all the concepts related to the causative factors and the possible organizational practices, and then we have applied them to an organization: BP Oil España. The case study has been to analyze whether the factors and healthy practices that positively influence wellbeing are found in the organization.
