Intervención psicopedagógica para mejorar la convivencia escolar a través de la formación del profesorado

Abstract

Hoy en día, son numerosos los casos de violencia entre iguales en los colegios e instituciones educativas, por lo que la mejora de la convivencia escolar resulta un tema imprescindible de trabajar e investigar por parte de todo el colectivo educativo. Este trabajo describe, en primer lugar, una intervención psicopedagógica a través de un plan de acción dirigido al alumnado, para diagnosticar sus necesidades y observar las prácticas que se utilizan en un aula ante conductas problemáticas. Por otra parte, explica el desarrollo y realización de un programa formativo, dirigido a profesionales docentes de Educación Secundaria en un colegio concertado de Castellón. Ambas prácticas tratan de recoger las opiniones y necesidades del alumnado y del colectivo docente, para brindarles estrategias, herramientas y técnicas capaces de mejorar la convivencia del aula y del centro en conjunto, previniendo así conflictos futuros. Finalmente, a través de la sensibilización y la formación del profesorado se observa cómo, el hecho de crear grupos de discusión y espacios de encuentro y reflexión entre profesionales y alumnado, ha dado como resultado mejores relaciones sociales entre todos/as, terminando con una nueva propuesta de acción para iniciar un nuevo ciclo de investigación-acción educativa.

Nowadays, we are facin several cases of violence between equals in the schools and educational institutions.That is the reason why the improvement of the coexistence in the schools is a an essential object that must be worked out and investigated and needs a commitment by the educational community. This work means, first of all, a psychopedagogical intervention through a plan of action intended for the students, in order to identify their needs and observe the practises which are used in the classroom in case of problema behaviours. Furthermore, explains the development and performance of an instructive programm, targeted for the profesional teachers of Educación Secundaria in a state school in Castellón.Both practises seek to gather the opinions and needs of both students and teachers, to provide strategies, tolos and techniques capable of improving the coexistence of the classroom and the center as a whole, thus preventing future conflicts. Finally, through the awareness and training of the teachers, it has been observed that the fact of creating focus groups and meeting places, and considerations between professionals and students, has resulted better social relationships between all of them, ending with a new action proposal to start a new cycle of research-action.
