Revisión teórica sobre el trastorno de la comunicación social (pragmático)

Abstract

Introduction: the recent publication of DSM-5 (APA, 2013), has generated a discussion about the inclusion of a new diagnostic category, the SPCD, given that the different professionals do not agree on whether or not in a new entity. Objective: The objective of this paper is to review the existing literature regarding the new SPCD diagnosis in orther to make a current analysis of this new category. Method: a bibliographic search of publications related to the SPCD in WOS and Google Scholar is carry out. Results: 59 articles are included for the elaboration of the work, of which 7, due to their relevance and to the population included, are chosen to address a more detailed analysis. Conclusions: Currently, there is very little research evidence to fully support a new diagnostic category and is hampered by several factors.
