This study aims to analyze the immersion of Ecuadorian women in the area firmly from the twenties of the last century until our days. By being the first woman to exercise the right to vote in Latin America, the analysis part of the figure of the doctor Matilde Hidalgo de Procel, pioneer in the vindication of the political rights of women in Ecuador, by being the first woman to exercise the right to vote in Latin America. From women's suffrage, women in this country were recognized as citizens in this country, marking the beginning of many democratic achievements, which in true feats, they culminate in very important transformations in the Magna Charter of the State. Through it, he has recognized women as political subjects and allowed the participation of some of them in politics. As a result of this involvement Ecuadorian women have been subject to physical and verbal abuse by dominant misogynist society, what we will call "patriarchal taunts". To better clarify this socio-political issues, case studies have been conducted on some Ecuadorian feminists who transgressed the dominant political system since the 1920s, as well as a brief analysis of interviews and articles with the topic.
