combinados con los operadores booleanos AND y OR.

Introduction / Justification: Suicide attempt is the adoption of harmful behaviors in order to
end one's life but, without achieving this purpose. The risk factors for suicide attempt are:
major depression and substance abuse. The emergency medical services attend daily people
with suicidal behavior, however, do not always have specialists in mental health.
Objectives: to develop a tool that facilitates the clinical practice of the nursing team in the care
of a patient with a suicide attempt in the emergency department.
Methodology and Results: An integrative review of the bibliography was done. The
information was obtained through the selection of a series of keywords and descriptors,
combined with the Boolean operators AND and OR. The search was done in different databases
such as PubMed, scopus and CINAHL, among others. In addition to different searches on
official web pages. They were applied from a series of filters and selection criteria with which
a total of 28 final articles were obtained.
Discussion: The literature consulted argues that emergency teams have a close relationship with
the suicide attempt, being in many cases the first sanitarians to come in contact with these
patients. It affirms the need to develop tools that help professionals in the management of
patients with suicide attempts. [-]
