Impotància de la integració sensorial en atenció primerenca. Cal incorporarl-la als CDIAPS?

Abstract

Early Intervention in children is based on the fact that discovering the signs that can anticipate a future problem and acting on them can prevent their consequences or, at least, dilute their weight and stop them from influencing the development of the children. To do this, we have to understand how people develop and, above all, how their environment influences this development. In order to understand the influence of the environment, it is essential to know how to get information and integrate the environment through the senses, that is, how Sensory Integration happens. Sensory Integration is the act of organizing the sensations for its use, and its correct development is essential to properly manage the information received from the environment. In this work we review the terms of Early Intervention and Sensory Integration. The aim is to verify the influence of Sensory Integration on Early Intervention and offer different materials and activities that can help to improve Sensory Integration and, as a result, the development in the early ages

L'Atenció Primerenca parteix de la base que descobrir els senyals que puguen anticipar un futur problema i actuar sobre ells pot evitar les seues conseqüències o, si més no, diluir-ne el pes, la seua obstrucció al desenvolupament dels infants. Per fer això, hem d'entendre com es desenvolupen les persones i, sobretot, com influeix el seu entorn en aquest desenvolupament. Per entendre la influència de l'entorn és essencial conèixer com es rep i s'integra la informació de l'entorn a través dels sentits, és a dir, com es produeix la Integració Sensorial. La Integració Sensorial es pot definir com l'acte d'organitzar les sensacions per al seu ús, i el seu correcte desenvolupament és imprescindible per poder gestionar correctament la informació rebuda de l'entorn. En aquest treball es fa una revisió dels termes d'Atenció Primerenca i Integració Sensorial per comprovar la influència que la Integració Sensorial té sobre l'Atenció Primerenca i es proposen diferents materials i activitats que poden ajudar a millorar la Integració Sensorial i, en conseqüència, el desenvolupament en les primeres edats.
