Protocolo asistencial para el manejo de la EPOC

Abstract

El protocolo asistencial para el manejo de la EPOC, se trata de un protocolo dirigido al Departamento de Salud de Castellón. Pretende ser un documento de referencia para poder coordinar los distintos niveles asistenciales implicados en la atención de la EPOC: Atención Primaria, Neumología, Unidad de Hospitalización Domiciliaria, Enfermero Gestor de casos. Se quiere definir los pasos a seguir por estos profesionales, en la asistencia a los pacientes incluyendo criterios de derivación y recomendaciones de las guías en el manejo del paciente, así como en docencia e investigación. Es un documento basado en su mayor parte en la GesEPOC, Guía Española para el manejo de la EPOC, la revisión de otras guías de práctica clínica implantadas ya en otras comunidades autónomas, en el Plan de Salud en EPOC de la Comunitat Valenciana de 2010-2014 y la publicación del Consejo General de Colegios Oficiales de Médicos de España: Pautas de Actuación y Seguimiento para el manejo de la EPOC en Atención Primaria. El protocolo también incluye un análisis de la implantación del plan de Salud en EPOC de la Comunidad Valenciana en el departamento de Castellón con la realización de una encuesta a los profesionales de Atención Primaria para analizar las necesidades en este servicio.

The health care protocol for the use of the COPD consists on a protocol directed to the Healthcare Department of Castellon. It pretends to be a document of reference aiming to coordinate the different care levels involved in the attention of the COPD (Primary attention, Pneumonology, Home Hospitalization Unit, Nurse Case Manager. It is directed towards defining the steps to be followed by these professionals in the assistance of the patients, including the derivation criteria and recommendations of the management guidelines of the patient as well as teaching and research. This document is mainly based in the GesEPOC, the Spanish Guide for the management of the COPD, the revision of other guidelines in the clinic practice that have already been implanted in other communities, in the Healthcare plan of the COPD in the Valencian Community of 2010-2014 and the publication of the General Council of the Official Medical Schools in Spain: action guidelines and a tracing for the management of the COPD in primary attention. The protocol also includes an analysis of the implantation of the healthcare plan in COPD at the Valencian Community in the department of Castellon with the introduction of a survey to the professionals of primary attentions with the objective of analyzing the needs of this service.
