dc.description.abstract | This essay is based on a possible teaching proposal about how to teach dialogic literary gatherings of universal literature in Compulsory Secondary Education students. Nowadays, an optional subject has been established in the Spanish Educative Centres to carry out this dialogic activity and encourage students to promote the reading act as well as improve their capacity in oral skills, learning at the same time a certain knowledge of universal literature. The idea of dealing with this topic emerged taking the example of the successful results of other secondary educative centers such as La Verneda and La Pradera acting as a Learning Communities. The aim of the study is put into practice a future DU related to dialogic literary gatherings in the group of 4th of ESO selecting some of the most representative books of universal literature such as “Dracula”, “Dr Jekyll and Mr Hide” and “The Treasure Island” both of them adaptations of the original books. In this way, the main goal of the unit is to discussing all the contents and topics related to the readings proposed through the medium of the dialogue working individually and in groups. In the same way, reading and writing skills are also took into account to develop the unit but in secondary role. Our intention is trying to promote dialogue and reflection through the different possible interpretations of a same piece of literary text providing students the necessary tools to awaken their personal critic opinion and the capacity of argue. | ca_CA |
