¡Corre!

Abstract

¡Corre! es un cortometraje de ficción realizado por Kaelum Films, un equipo compuesto por cuatro personas. Es un proyecto que se ha llevado a cabo en varios meses, pasando por las fases de preproducción, producción, y postproducción, lo cual se recoge en este dossier. Para ello, en el equipo nos hemos organizado y asignado diferentes roles para cumplir con los objetivos marcados. El cortometraje trata sobre Bea, una chica que se ve perseguida por alguien, aunque al llegar a casa tampoco se encuentra a salvo, ya que su agresor la sigue de cerca. Además, las puertas de su domicilio no dan a las habitaciones habituales. Este hecho, al principio creará una gran confusión en el espectador, que más adelante, logrará entender. Por lo tanto, ¡Corre! es una producción apta a la experimentación desde el punto de vista narrativo y formal. Nuestro objetivo, desde la primera escena, ha sido captar la atención del espectador y mantener el suspense durante todo el cortometraje. Para ello, hemos combinado los planos cortos con planos más largos, y así crear ritmo en el transcurso del film. También, le hemos dado importancia a los objetos físicos -fijándolos en momentos clave de la trama- y los hemos cargado de valor simbólico para el personaje. Además, cabe destacar que hasta llegar al resultado que observamos ahora, el guion ha sufrido diversos cambios y modificaciones. Por lo tanto, el proceso de trabajo ha sido largo, pero muy minucioso por parte de todos los miembros del equipo. De hecho, ha sido un reto y una experiencia para todo el equipo.

Run! It’s a short fiction film made by Kaelum Films, a team of four people. It is a project that has been carried out in several months, through the phases of pre-production, production and post-production, which is collected in this dossier. To do this, the team we have organized and assigned different roles to meet the set targets. The short film is about Bea, a girl who is pursued by someone, although arriving at home nor it’s safe, since closely follows it his aggressor. In addition, the doors of your home don’t regular rooms. This fact at first will create great confusion in the spectator, which later, will understand. Therefore, Run! It’s a suitable production experiments from the point of view of narrative and formal. Our objective, from the first scene, has been capturing the viewer's attention and keep the suspense throughout the film. To do this, we have combined the close shots with planes longer, and thus create rhythm over the course of the film. Also, we have given importance to physical objects - fixing them at key moments in the plot - and we have charged them with symbolic value for the character. In addition, note that until you reach the result we see now, the screenplay has undergone various changes and modifications. Therefore, the worker process has been long, but very thorough by all members of the team. In fact, it has been a challenge and an experience for the whole team. The dossier reflected throughout the creative process, obstacles or problems that have arisen in the journey, as also the solutions that have been. Also reflects the knowledge acquired in class during the career.
