dc.description.abstract | The Quality Management has been one of the topics that most interest has had in the field of the study of organizations in the last years. The following paper analyzes the relationship between quality management and design of jobs taking into account how this affects the behavior of employees in the organization. Thus, it has analyzed what human resources practices are the most suitable for the implantation of total quality system. Later, the variables that affect the design of jobs proposed by Hackman and OIdham (1976) are determined. Finally, it is shown the importance of the design of jobs for human factor. Along with the theoretical review of the different theories two empirical analyses have been carried out. This paper study the effects of quality management on employees and how companies with a higher level of quality management involve in major measure their employees in some human resources practices. Also it has been analyzed the relationship between the variables of design of jobs and the human factor in the company "Unión de Mutuas".
