La modernidad líquida: consecuencias de la Aldea Global

Abstract

Desde el inicio del sistema capitalista una de las preguntas que se formulan las ciencias sociales, es el problema de la identidad y de la creación del propio individuo. Así como también, la comprensión de un nuevo mundo marcado por la globalización y, con ella, la creación de sociedades multiculturales llenas de desigualdades entre las diferentes comunidades y colectivos humanos. Con el presente trabajo se pretende dilucidar en cierta medida la red de relaciones interpersonales que conforman las sociedades actuales, para entender a dónde y cómo estamos dirigiendo nuestras vidas. Para lograr tal objetivo se seguirá como eje central de este estudio la teoría de Zygmunt Bauman sobre la modernidad líquida, puesto que esta teoría muestra muy bien hasta que punto se han desmoronado los cimientos que históricamente han sostenido los pilares vitales de las sociedades.

Since the beginning of the capitalist system one of the questions that social sciences made themselves is the problem with the identity and the creation of the own individual. As well as the comprehension of a new world that is marked by the globalization, and with that, the creation of multicultural societies full of inequalities between the different human groups and communities. The present working paper intends to elucidate the interpersonal relationships nets which are present in the actual societies, with the aim of trying to understand where and how we are leading our lives. In order to achieve this goal, it will follow Zygmunt Bauman's theory about liquid modernity as the central axis, because this theory shows in a such good way how the foundations, that historically have held the vital columns of society, have crumbled.
