The purpose of this project is to give a brief idea of what creativity is nowadays, and how could it be applied in a language course. We have a failing education system that does no longer cover the needs of the students, and in order to solve that it is necessary a change in how learning has been approached for the last 100 years. Many believe that creativity is the skill of the 21st century, thus, it should be a must in every school; students need to face challenges creatively, and on the other hand, teachers should be creative in the ways they teach and challenge their students. Here we are proposing three methods for an English as a Foreign or Second Language course: Creative writing, Project-based learning, and Game-based learning, through Minecraft.ca_CA
