In clinical neuropsychology is needed normative data in order to relate a subject behaviour with a reference group. Therefore, due to the major limitation of the normative data published in neuropsychological tests in Spain, the aim of this paper is to help to fill the lack of data with standardized data of Brixton Spatial Anticipation Test (BSAT). This test was designed to assess the capacity to induce rules and alternate them; these capacities are included in the executive functions. Furthermore, the deficit in executive functions is one of the main characteristics of schizophrenic disorder and therefore, proper normalization of BSAT data also is useful for proper neuropsychological evaluation of these patients, both before and after the cognitive rehabilitation. The research results show that execution performance observed between the control sample and the clinical sample (people diagnosed with schizophrenia) is significantly higher in the control group. These results are the same that in many previous studies which showed that subjects with schizophrenia presented fundamental characteristics of deficit in executive functions. [-]
