En neuropsicología clínica es necesario disponer de datos normativos con el fin de relacionar el comportamiento de un sujeto con un grupo de referencia. Por ello, debido a la gran limitación de los datos normativos publicados de tests neuropsicológicos en España, el presente trabajo intenta ayudar a llenar ese vacío con la normalización de datos del test de anticipación visual de Brixton (TAVB). Este test se diseñó para evaluar la capacidad de inducir reglas y alternarlas, dichas capacidades se encuadran dentro de las funciones ejecutivas. Además, el déficit en las funciones ejecutivas como vamos a ver es una de las características principales del trastorno esquizofrénico y, por tanto, la adecuada normalización de los datos del TAVB nos serviría también para una correcta evaluación neuropsicológica de dichos pacientes previa y posteriormente a la rehabilitación cognitiva. Los resultados de la investigación muestran que el rendimiento ejecutivo observado entre la muestra control y la muestra clínica (personas con trastorno de esquizofrenia) es significativamente superior en el grupo control. Estos resultados siguen la misma línea que numerosos estudios anteriores donde se demuestra que los sujetos con esquizofrenia presentarían características fundamentales del déficit en funciones ejecutivas. In clinical neuropsychology is needed normative data in order to relate a subject behaviour with a reference group. Therefore, due to the major limitation of the normative data published in neuropsychological tests in Spain, the aim of this paper is to help to fill the lack of data with standardized data of Brixton Spatial Anticipation Test (BSAT). This test was designed to assess the capacity to induce rules and alternate them; these capacities are included in the executive functions. Furthermore, the deficit in executive functions is one of the main characteristics of schizophrenic disorder and therefore, proper normalization of BSAT data also is useful for proper neuropsychological evaluation of these patients, both before and after the cognitive rehabilitation. The research results show that execution performance observed between the control sample and the clinical sample (people diagnosed with schizophrenia) is significantly higher in the control group. These results are the same that in many previous studies which showed that subjects with schizophrenia presented fundamental characteristics of deficit in executive functions. [-]
