The origin of this research is to reflect the communicative deficiencies on
television about deaf people. Focused on the Comunitat Valenciana context, to delimit the field. This study seeks to understand the deaf and hearing people perception about
adaptation of the journalistic message to Deaf Community. Analyze expert’s points of view around the adaptation of journalism in television. And study the approach of the most viewed television channels in the Comunitat. To this was necessary to create
general polls and interviewing experts, and consult laws and a lot of regulations. With this information it was possible to develop statistical graphics to show situations like deaf people are more conformist that hearings who are concerned about the suitability of the
journalistic message. This study also demonstrates that deaf people are more satisfied with the current TV that heraing people. And television channels that best meet the informational expectations for deaf people are the first channel of Televisión Española and La Sexta. Another large part of this work reflects the opinions on nonexistent Public
Valencian television and the approach of regarding journalistic message for deaf people. [-]

El origen de esta investigación es poder reflejar las deficiencias comunicativas de la televisión con respecto a la gente sorda. Centrado en el contexto de la Comunitat Valenciana por acotar el campo de trabajo. El estudio intenta conocer la percepción de los sordos y oyentes sobre la adaptación del mensaje periodístico a la Comunidad Sorda. Analizar la postura de expertos en Lengua de Signos en torno a la adaptación del mensaje periodístico. Y estudiar el planteamiento de las televisiones más vistas en la
Comunitat. Para ello ha sido necesario crear encuestas y realizar entrevistas personales a expertos, así como consultar leyes y normativas. Con toda esta
información se han podido elaborar tablas estadísticas para demostrar situaciones como que las personas sordas son más conformistas que las oyentes quienes están más preocupadas por la adaptabilidad del mensaje. También se demuestra en este trabajo
que las personas sordas están más satisfechas con la televisión actual que las personas oyentes, y que los canales que mejor cumplen las expectativas informativas para este grupo de gente es el primer canal de Televisión Española y La Sexta. Otra amplia parte
del trabajo recoge las opiniones sobre la ya inexistente Televisión Pública Valenciana y su planteamiento con respecto a al mensaje periodístico para personas sordas. [-]
