Desde la Teoría Social Cognitiva de Bandura se ha explicado como las creencias de eficacia predice a largo
plazo la satisfacción familiar (Caprara, Concetta, Regalia, Scabini, Bandura, 2005), y es determinante en el
estudio de las conductas sanas (Bandura, 2004). Desde estas aportaciones, nos centraremos en las Organizaciones
para investigar como la autoeficacia predice el bienestar psicológico en una muestra formada por
874 trabajadores de diferentes grupos ocupacionales, donde un 47.4% son mujeres y un 52.6% son hombres,
de una edad media de 38 años. Siendo el objetivo de este estudio poner a prueba un modelo causal sobre los
efectos de las creencias de autoeficacia general sobre el bienestar psicológico en su línea positiva (engagement),
explorando el papel mediador de la variable autonomía laboral (control en el puesto). Concluyendo,
que el modelo indica que ha mayores niveles de autoeficacia mayores percepciones de autonomía laboral,
potenciando el engagement. [-]
