El sábado 4 de Octubre tuvo lugar en París la segunda manifestación de una jornada nocturna que se ha dado en llamar la nuit blanche. El evento fue publicitado por todos los medios (vallas, carteles, espots, reportajes, internet, etc.) y consistía básicamente en la liberación del espacio urbano a los ciudadanos; es decir, la apropiación colectiva y lúdica de los servicios municipales. A partir de una reflexión sobre las condiciones de persuasión, seducción y comercialización que caracterizan los modelos dominantes de publicidad, se hace una comparación con otra concepción, de carácter abierto. La función fática se manifiesta en los mensajes publicitarios para mantener abierto el canal de comunicación emisor [F0E0?] receptor e inducir a la respuesta positiva de este último. La nuit blanche ha utilizado esta apertura del canal para adjudicar al receptor el protagonismo, eliminando de hecho la función conativa [-]

On Saturday 4 October took place in Paris the second manifestation of a night symposium that has been called nuit blanche. The event was publicized by all media (billboards, posters, advertisements, reports, Internet, etc.). It consisted mainly in the release of the public urban space, i. e., the collective and playful appropriation of municipal services. From a reflection on the conditions of persuasion, seduction and marketing that characterize the dominant models of advertising, a comparison with a different concept of openness is made. The phatic function is manifested in advertising messages to keep open the communication channel issuer-receptor and to induce a positive response from the latter. The nuit blanche has used this opening of the channel to award the receptor with leadership, actually eliminating the conative function. [-]
