Algunas consideraciones sobre el estudio de la historia del arte desde una perspectiva ecofeminista y su aplicación museográfica y educativa

Abstract

El monográfico dedicado a Ecofeminismos a través de la Historia del Arte: Naturaleza, Género y Educación recoge investigaciones que estudien las relaciones de Género en el ámbito de la Historia del Arte desde el punto de vista de la Ecología y el Medio Ambiente. Su ámbito de aplicación abarca todo el período comprendido entre la antigüedad y el mundo contemporáneo, incluyendo su aspecto educativo y museográfico.

The aim of this article is to study the writings of those women who rewrite histories and stories already told by men. Women translate these stories, but these rewritings manage to be a new history. Examples can be found in very different disciplines, from the art world to literature. Buhle Ngaba, Ghada Amer, Caroline Bergvall and Nalini Malani, among others, will show that there are other stories within the story we have been told. Women do this travelling through different metaphorical spaces they transform and therefore translate.
