Abstract

In The Adventures of Pinocchio (1883) one of the fundamental sacred stories reappears: Carlo Collodi presents the theme of the exile of paradise and the vicissitudes to recover it. The text combines the form of the myth with rigor and clarity along with the simplicity and humor of the children's story.We read the book in relation to Paul Ricœur's theory of the symbol, particularly with the methodological support of Finitud y culpabilidad(1960) and the first presentation of the symbols of evil, as indirect discourse. The mythical exposition of the problem of a religious and philosophical nature brings into play the question of identity;the presence of evil requires personal definition.We relate the journey of the protagonist's soul to the course of national history and consider the answer in parallel;the symbols of evil originally interpellate to order the course of personal and historical life.

En Las Aventuras de Pinocho (1883) reaparece uno de los relatos sagrados fundamentales: Carlo Collodi presenta el tema del exilio del paraíso y las vicisitudes para recuperarlo. El texto combina la forma del mito con rigor y claridad junto con la simplicidad y el humor del cuento infantil.Hacemos la lectura del libro en relación con la teoría del símbolo de Paul Ricœur, en particular con el respaldo metodológico deFinitud y culpabilidad (1960) y laprimera presentaciónde los símbolos del mal, en tanto que discurso indirecto.La exposición mítica del problema de naturaleza religiosa y filosófica pone en juego la pregunta por la identidad; la presencia del mal exige definición personal. Relacionamos el viaje del alma del protagonista con el decurso de la historia nacional y consideramos en paralelo la respuesta; los símbolos del mal interpelan originariamente para ordenar el decurso de vida personal e histórica.
