Many studies talk about bilingualism and its effects at an early age. Some of them say and
believe that this involves numerous positive effects, such as the realization of tasks of cognitive
control and executive. However, there is also another point of view and other studies in which it
is believed that the effects of bilingualism are not as good as other studies think and that these
have negative effects on us.
In the following pages, we will find a review about several articles. These articles are about
research and studies in which children who are exposed to more than one language and children
who are only exposed to a language have been tested, in order to see the differences that exist
between them. Thanks to these studies, we have been able to see the differences when
performing the same task, in the activation of the brain and in the scores obtained in these tests. [-]
