This participatory research is based on the need to create a space of security
and mutual support among roman women in the neighborhood of Pomecia
(Teruel), which generates a reflection on the different leaders that emerge in the
group and how it relates to the gender construction, the model of relationship
and the transmission of culture and ethnic identity. Through observation, the
gathering of testimonies, interviews and coexistence with the group, underlying
factors emerged that represent his idea of the Roma woman and her
relationship with the world. On the other hand, given the current need within the theory and feminist
practice of integrating the concept of intersectionality, this document aims to
provide a dialog to define the lines of action and demands of the gypsy
community, thus creating a platform of representation as an ethnic minority and
a step toward participation and social transformation. [-]
