The emotional activation within the musical interpretation and those reactions that our body reveals
before a recital, will influence both the preparation process and the moment of the performance. The
objective of this master's thesis is to minimize the emotional states of stress and anxiety that the vast
majority of students suffer during the previous moments and during the interpretation. This thesis is
based on the application to trumpet students of C.M.P.M "Mestre Feliu" of Benicarló, of a series of
Dalcroze exercises learned in the Master in Music Didactics of the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón.
After the creation of a survey of a pre-test / post-test for both students and teachers, as well as an
interview with the parents, we have obtained results which have been analyzed. Comparing the
analyzed datum , it can be deduced that by applying continuously these exercises students have
achieved a better interpretation in their performances at the end of the course. [-]
