Arteterapia la expresión de las emociones a través del arte en la infancia

Abstract

The British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) defines art therapy as "a form of psychotherapy that uses artistic medium as its primary form of communication". [1] This actual Final Degree Project (hereinafter FDP) is based on the thesis that art therapy is a valuable educational tool for the identification and recognition of the main emotions in the field of Special Education. The work is structured in two different parts. First of all the theoretical framework offers the context and the argumentative body that sustains the experimental project which occupies the second part of the text. From an exhaustive investigation about the benefits and fields of the use of art therapy, as well as the characteristics of the Williams Syndrome (hereinafter WS), an experimental project has been carried out at the College of Special Education Penyeta Roja of Castelló with the objective of verifying the possible interactions between art therapy and formal education.

La British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) define el arteterapia como “una forma de psicoterapia que usa el medio artístico como su forma primaria de comunicación”. [1] El presente Trabajo Final de Grado (en adelante TFG) se sustenta en la tesis de que el arteterapia es una herramienta educativa valiosa para la identificación y reconocimiento de las emociones principales en el ámbito de la Educación Especial. El trabajo se estructura en dos partes diferenciadas. Por un lado el marco teórico ofrece el contexto y el cuerpo argumentativo que sostiene al proyecto experimental, ocupa la segunda parte del texto. A partir de una exhaustiva investigación acerca de los beneficios y ámbitos de utilización del arteterapia, así como de las características del Síndrome de Williams (en adelante SW), se ha llevado a cabo un proyecto experimental en el colegio de Educación Especial Penyeta Roja de Castelló con el objetivo de verificar las posibles interacciones entre el arteterapia y la educación formal.
