Transmedia campaigns are making their way into the Spanish advertising
landscape. There are already many companies that seek to stand out in a world
where ads whose structure is similar, are losing the interest of users and / or
viewers.
Therefore, the objective of this work is to show a new way of communicating
advertising. This communicative approach receives the name of Transmedia,
that is to say, an advertising campaign capable of generating a liquid content
that adapts to any format or support. Also, within the Transmedia, the concept
of Branded Content appears, which tries to generate brand experiences for the
user because this concept considers that through entertainment the memory is
better generated (Piquer, 2018).
For its part, the myths of Henry Jenkins (2003) appear in this work as an
example for first, understand the characteristics of Transmedia campaigns, and,
secondly, as an analysis tool to check that a film project like Paella Today! It
can be considered a Transmedia element.
It is a qualitative study that through a careful bibliographical selection, aims to
bring the concepts of Transmedia and Branded Content closer to the user, as
well as to demonstrate that Paella Today! It is a Transmedia campaign. [-]
