dc.description.abstractInternet - based interventions can help to improve the dissemination of evidence - based psychological treatments . This study aims to conduct a review of the efficacy of Internet - based interventions for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) . An online search in PsycNet , PudMed , Scopus and Web of Science databases was conducted . Overall, the results showed significant reductions in PTSD symptoms from pre - to postreatment with effect sizes ranging from medium to large (Cohen’s d 0 . 41 - 1 . 89 ) . Internet - based interventions are a feasible alternative for the treatment of PTSD with the advantage of reaching more people in needca_CA
