Health, understood from a biopsychosocial model, has been determined by behaviors
and lifestyles,
genetics, the environment, the health system and the macrosocial and
political structure. However, despite the political agreements reached, and that the
articles and research corroborate the importance of acting on the different factors that
determine hea
lth, health policies do not prioritize these actions, thus increasing
inequality.
In this study, t
he qualitative descriptive
-
interpretative methodology is used for the
analysis of the demands of community intervention in the neighborhood of San
Agustín.
Af

it can be concluded that the
neighborhood

chronicity, abusive consumption of toxic substances, contagious diseases, gender violence a
nd mental health problems. The neighborhood has a wide network of
associative fabric, however, health promotion is still pending.
Finally, s
ome recommendations are written, aimed at developing a community
intervention in the sixth grade students of the San Agustín school, with the aim of
preventing the consumption of toxic substances in adulthood. [-]

a y
