Introduction:
The natural birth is that physiological process in which the time of birth both for
the child and for the mother is respected, also in which any taken minutes interventions are
realized. Curren
tly, the natural birth has more importance since there is a decrease of medical
interventions. One seeks to promote the beginning of the mother’s autonomy and the family
taking part in the process.
Objective:
To discover which is the most suitable place t
o give birth, both for the mother and
for the new born child, in a low
-
risk pregnancy.
Methodology:
It is carried out a review of the literature by doing a research in the different
databases.
Results:
The most part of the researches were based on the experiences of women during the
birth, emphasizing the independence of the process, the individuality of the nursings and the
humanization of the childbirth.
Discussion:
Differences are observed on the su
itable place to give birth naturally in a low
-
risk
pregnancy. There are coincidences for the beginning of autonomy as well as for the
humanization of the childbirth, which should be present in all the processes.
Conclusion:
The most suitable place to give
birth naturally is the birthing center, where the
midwifery is the main person in charge of the process. The beginning of autonomy is promoted
and the humanization of the childbirth is looked at all time, in which the mother and the child
are the protagon
ists. [-]
