This document details all the chapters of the Final Degree Project. The first Chapter is the Technical
Proposal that explains the work and the planning that is going to be followed to develop the project.
The next chapter details the project development itself, starting with the research of the Unreal
Engine 4 Gameplay framework describing the main classes that manage the execution flow of any
game in this engine. Later, also in this chapter, is going to be created the application design of the
video game HIVE, bearing in mind the previously research of the engine gameplay framework,
improving the integration and extensibility of the future development. The main classes and systems
considered for the application design will be the Gameplay framework, Ability system, Online
system, and Upgradessystem. Finally, in the development chapter, will be implemented whole HIVE
programming that needs to be developed through visual programming, such some classes that
extends of the proper code in C++, state machines that manage the behavior of animations, the
system sound hierarchy, the creation of materials with visual shaders, and finally the creation of
particles and their integration into the code. In the third chapter is going to be detailed the results
of the project. The next one are the conclusions, to finally finish with the bibliography chapter and
the annexed Game Document Design. [-]
