In this dissertation, I did an educational intervention for the kids of the public school La Asunción
in La Vall d’Uixó, province of Castellón. More in particular, in the class of pre-school of 5 years old
children make up by 26 pupils. However, this project was meant to be for three kids that presented
a low level of self-esteem. In order to do so, I designed an actuation program the main purpose
of which was encourage, develop and improve their self-esteem. It was put in practice through
some activities in which they improved the self-esteem through different ways, by using a
participatory, dynamic and active methodology where the kids experienced feeling of socioemotional
well-being. For this reason, they participated on group activities, because the cooperation
was essential in this respect and this way, we encourage a better and affective atmosphere.
Moreover, they also worked through other techniques like the praise and exaltation of those kids
to increase their motivation.
This way, I got the expected results, as the improvements in participation and initiative of
children while doing the activities. However, there were also limitations related to the time spent
and the limited proof to obtain results. [-]
