The aim of this work is to study the catalytic dehydrogenative coupling of
hydrosilanes with alcohols using the ruthenium molecular complex and the
related hybrid material prepared by the immobilization of the molecular
complex onto reduced graphene oxide by non-covalent interactions. In this
study we have focused our interest on different items:
• Synthesis of well-known imidazolium salt that serve as ligand
precursor.
• Synthesis of ruthenium complex and full characterization by 1H NMR,
13C NMR and Mass Spectrometry.
• Synthesis of hybrid material Ru-rGO and characterization by TEM and
ICP-MS.
• Study of the catalytic activity of ruthenium complex and hybrid
material in the coupling of hydrosilanes with alcohols. [-]
