In this work we intend to study how the question of the work-life balance has been incorporated in the popular management literature for women. We are particularly interested in identifying the key in which this discourse is constructed, that is to say, to discern whether, through its formulation, a presence of women in management positions is promoted from a transformative and egalitarian vision - by emphasizing the work-life balance policies as a clear need-, or whether women are still assigned the responsibility for the management of private space in a stereotypical and exclusive way.
