Caterina Albert: conservadorisme i subversió en l'escriptura

Abstract

Aquest estudi gira entorn de la relació entre literatura i dona mitjançant la figura de l'escriptora catalana Caterina Albert (1869-1966), més coneguda amb el pseudònim de Víctor Català. L'objectiu de la investigació consisteix en una lectura de gènere a partir de diferents aportacions de les teories feministes anglo-americanes i franceses. Com a resultat, s'ofereix un estudi de l'obra de l'escriptora catalana centrat en qüestions vinculades a la vida de les dones on es mostra una narrativa diferent a la que han oferit els homes escriptors. Les conclusions del treball giren entorn de les tensions sorgides entre literatura i dona, un fenomen complex vinculat amb les identitats marginals sobre el qual encara queda molt per escriure.

This study focuses around the relationship between literature and women across the figure of the catalan writer Caterina Albert (1869-1966), also known by the pseudonym of Víctor Català. The purpose of this work consists of a gender reading based on the different feminist anglo-american and french theories. As a result, it's offered a study about the catalan writer's work focused on questions linked with women's life where is showed a different narrative from men writers. The conclusions of the study revolve around the tensions that emerge between literature and women, a complicated phenomenon linked to the marginal identities on wich much remains to be written.
