Unit 4: The job interview process

Abstract

Well, we have reached the end of the course. In this last Unit we'll present the job interview process. Here, you'll be able to follow the guidelines for an effective interview. Our aim is that you get the job you applied for in previous units. At the beginning we'll ask you to reflect on some previous aspects to be taken into account before facing a job interview. Departing from the job offer you chose in the previous unit, you'll have to outline the possible questions that the potential employer may ask you at the interview and prepare your answers, we'll provide you with a list of the most frequently asked questions. Next, you'll have to watch couple of job interview videos and comment on the performance of characters, potential employer-interviewer and job applicant-interviewee by answering some guided questions. At the end of this unit we recommend you to perform your own job interview with a friend/partner and video record it, you'll be surprised with the result!
