dc.description.abstractThis paper aims at analyzing whether the retail fuel prices react asymmetrically to changes in the input price or not. In order to accomplish that, we examine the domestic fuel oil sector, the behavior of fuel prices and their components. More over, dynamics on vertical price transmission are examined by performing an econometric study based on time series for Castellón from 6th June 2009 to 14th September 2011. The overall work displays a concentrated Spanish oil market and the likely existence of asymmetries in price transmission.ca_CA
