La necrópolis ibérica de la Bassa del Mas, Santa Magdalena de Polpis (Castellón) y su entorno arqueológico

Abstract

Se presenta el estudio de una necrópolis de cremación ibérica datada entre los siglos VI a.C. y V a.C., así como otros hallazgos de su entorno. La necrópolis pertenece al tipo de enterramientos que se localiza en el norte de la provincia de Castellón y sur de Tarragona, el cual se caracteriza por unas formas cerámicas concretas y sus ajuares metálicos tanto de bronce como de hierro, formados por elementos provenientes de la indumentaria del difunto, la panoplia y el ritual funerario.

It is the study of an Iberian cremation cemetery dating from the 6th centuries BC and V century, as well as other findings of their environment. The necropolis belongs to the type of burial sites located in the North of the province of Castellón and South of Tarragona, which is characterized by a specific ceramic forms and their metal regalia, both bronze and iron, composed of elements from the clothing of the deceased, the range and funeral ritual.
