Abstract

This essay compare and prove how the different variables as years of education, work experience, and gender can affect the wages level taking as a basis the concept of human capital. There are different analysis and regressions to estimate how these variables explain the wages level, and which are more important than the rest. In addition is checked the different level of significance of these variables in different countries around the world (to explain the wages level) and, for example, how in some countries is more influential be a man or a woman, and in other countries is more important have more experience,. The comparison among different countries show how important is every variable in each country.
