Abstract

This article comes from the idea that Elementary Spanish classrooms are in dire need of improvement in terms of social relations, not only because of the significant cultural changes that occurred during the dawn of the twenty-first century as a result of migration flows, but because of global economic complications and technological advances that have complicated relationships. In this situation, this article offers a compilation of different activities in the area of artistic expression of Elementary Education, with the aim of improving social contact and relationships of the students of this educational stage. At the same time, it has been considered essential to characterize these activities as a working point of the students’ creativity, seen as a tool that will have a positive impact on sociocultural and affective relationships with others.

Este artículo parte de la consideración de que las aulas de Primaria se encuentran con la necesidad de mejorar en cuanto a las relaciones sociales, no sólo debido a los importantes cambios socioculturales acontecidos durante estos inicios del siglo XXI como consecuencia de las corrientes migratorias, sino a las complicaciones económicas mundiales y a los avances tecnológicos que han dificultado las relaciones humanas. Ante esta situación, desde este artículo, se ofrece una recopilación de diferentes actividades realizadas en el área de expresión artística de Educación Primaria, con el objetivo de mejorar el contacto social y las relaciones humanas del alumnado de esta etapa educativa. Al mismo tiempo se ha considerado imprescindible caracterizar estas actividades como un punto de trabajo de la creatividad del alumnado, comprendida como una herramienta que repercutirá positivamente en sus relaciones socioculturales y afectivas con el otro.
