Violencia filio-parental: revisión bibliográfica

Abstract

La violencia filio-parental se ha visto relegada a un segundo plano por los expertos, que dirigen sus investigaciones hacia otros tipos de violencia intrafamiliar; por lo que no podemos contar con una gran cantidad de artículos que abarquen este tipo de maltrato. Un tipo de violencia de la que cada día somos más conocedores y conscientes, gracias a los datos que nos aporta la Fiscalía de Menores y otras instituciones sociales. Las familias entienden que se trata de un fenómeno que debe vivirse en la estricta intimidad; complicando, en gran medida, la intervención profesional encargada de erradicar y modificar estos comportamientos. En este artículo se pretende ahondar en el perfil del agresor y la víctima principal; insistiendo, a su vez, en la importancia que tiene el estilo educativo adquirido por los padres en este tipo de maltrato y la posible bidireccionalidad de las agresiones. Tras la revisión realizada, se ha llegado a la conclusión de que los jóvenes varones son más propicios a abusar física y psicológicamente de sus padres, siendo la madre la principal víctima. Se señalan problemas de conducta y emocionales en los jóvenes agresores, además de identificarse, en gran parte de éstos, hábitos de consumo de drogas u otras sustancias. En cuanto a la bidireccionalidad, se advierte mayor probabilidad de maltrato filial en aquellos hijos que han sido víctima o testigo de otro tipo de violencia intrafamiliar. La parentalidad tardía y la monoparentalidad son dos de los aspectos más característicos de las familias que sufren este tipo de violencia.

The parental abuse by children has been relegated to second plane by the experts, that manage their investigations to other types of violence. Because of this we can't have a lot of articles that dealing with this type of abuse. A violence type that we are more conscious thanks to the data that the Office of Children and other social institutions give us. Families understand that this is a phenomenon that must live in strict privacy, complicating the profesional intervention in charge of eradicating and modifying this conducts. This article pretends delve in aggressor and main victim profile, pressing in the educative style's value acquired by the parents in this type of abuse and in the possible aggressions bidirectionality. Through the review, it was concluded that young men are more auspicious to abuse physical and psychologically of their parents, being the mother the main victim. Behavioral and emotional problems are identified in the young agressors, also identify, in the most of cases, drug or other substances habits. As bidirectionality, it warns more subsidiary abuse's probability in the offspring that have been victims or witness of other violence's type. The late and the single parenthood are two of the most characteristic aspects of families suffering from this type of violence.
