La educación de la mujer del siglo XX a través de la literatura infantil

Abstract

Este es un Trabajo de Final de Grado de Educación Infantil, en el cual he realizado una investigación acerca de las mujeres del siglo XX y la educación que estas recibían. Para ello, además de indagar acerca de instituciones como la Iglesia o movimientos femeninos como el Lyceum Club, Mujeres libres y la Sección Femenina de la Falange; he analizado una colección de cuentos infantiles de una de las escritoras precursoras del feminismo en nuestro país: Elena Fortún. El objetivo principal de esta investigación es descubrir a través de las aventuras de Celia, el personaje ficticio de Fortún, cómo era la realidad de las mujeres antes, durante y después de la Guerra Civil. Además, podremos conocer a Celia y descubrir de qué manera el contexto en el que se desarrolla le cambia la personalidad, e involuciona pasando de ser una niña aventurera y soñadora a una mujer sumisa y dedicada al hogar. Finalmente, todo ello nos llevará a comprobar cómo puede influir la literatura infantil en aspectos como los roles de sexos. Además, también he podido concluir que la educación juega un papel importantísimo a la hora de condicionar una sociedad. Por ese motivo debemos plantearnos qué tipo de personas queremos formar, para descubrir cómo debemos hacerlo.

This is an End of Degree Work of Childhood Education, in which I have done a research about the women of the 20th century and the education that they received. To this end, in addition to inquire about institutions such as the Church or female movements like the “Lyceum Club”, “Free Women” and the “Female Section of the Phalanx”; I have analyzed a collection of fairy tales from one of the precursor writers of feminism in our country: Elena Fortún. The main objective of this research is to discover through the adventures of Celia, the fictional main character from Fortún, how was the women reality before, during and after the Civil War. We can also meet Celia and discover how the context in which she is developed changes her personality, and she involutes from being adventurous and dreamy girl to a submissive and devoted to the home woman. Finally, all of this will lead us to check how children's literature can influence in areas such as the gender roles. In addition, I have also been able to conclude that education plays a very important role when it comes to influence a society. For that reason we need to ask ourselves what kind of people we want to form, to discover how we should do it.
