The shift that education has experimented affected in the way of teaching and learning from learning by memorizing according to the Grammar Translation Approach to a virtual learning environment. The teacher’s role changes to a facilitator, the learner becomes active, authentic data is delivered, and the digital resources are the channel of providing input. Technologies through e-tools and interactive boards are improving the way of creating and implementing motivational activities. This study proposes a new methodology to learn irregular verbs, using digital boards in an interactive and dynamic way. ‘Wordle’, ‘Hot Potatoes’, three sessions, and a questionnaire were used to analyze the effectiveness of learning 15 irregular verbs – make, run, draw, leave, buy, know, write, think, feel, take, go, see, give, sit, and say – in a different digital methodology. The preliminary results of the research show that learners feel amused while doing the sessions; they think that they can remember almost all verbs practiced, and they prefer this system to learn irregular verbs. Consequently, the introduction of a new kind of teaching thanks to the new technologies students enjoy the lessons and learn everything in a most efficient way. [-]
