The present study exposes the problem caused by the cyberbullying phenomenon as well as its
conceptualization and main features, its differences with the bullying and the relation of this with
the psychological well-being. The main objective of this work is the analysis of the general
prevalence and on the basis of the sex, the degree of involvement in the distinct situations that
occur in the cyberbullying (Observer, aggressor and victim). Another objective would be the
analysis of the relation of these implications have with de psychological well-being, which is formed
by an emotional component, represented by the somatic complaints, and a cognitive component
represented by the satisfaction level with life. To arrive to that point, be asked to 83 young people
of the Valencian Comunity, from 11 to 14 years old, who complete diferents questionnaires about
their involvement in cyberbullying, about their somatic complaints and their life satisfaction level.
The results show a very low prevalence in terms of the involvement degree in this type of
situations, without observing significant differences in terms of gender. They also show a
significantly positive relationship between the somatic complaints frequency and the involvement
as a victim, and also a significantly negative relationship between the level of life satisfaction and
involvement as an aggressor. [-]
