televisiva Community (Dan Harmon, NBC: 2009-2014, Yahoo!

This Trabajo de Final de Grado is focused on the study of the relation between
Community TV series (Dan Harmon, NBC: 2009-2014, Yahoo! Screen: 2015) and its
fandom, through mechanisms of self-awareness. The context in which it is placed
provides with the basis that make possible this relationship, due to changes of the
habits of consumption, the increasing of the creator power after the new golden age of
television and the higher visibility of the fandom which facilitates the net.
We treat the concepts of serializing, intertextuality, metatextuality and fandom to draw
up a theoretical basis that serve as a verification or disproof of our hypothesis and
which assume some premises for the textual analysis of the corpus. With all this, we
expect to demonstrate that the especial relationship that Community is maintaining with
its fan community is constructed and supplied from the work through intertextual and
metatextual mechanisms, and this, at the same time, feeds the text back by nourishing
its content. [-]
