El transporte por carretera es el principal medio utilizado para transportar mercancías. En
aras de mejorar la seguridad de las vías se han redactado sucesivas legislaciones nacionales
que afectan a los tiempos de conducción de los conductores de camiones. La situación
habitual en España es que los conductores tengan la obligación de parar y descansar 45
minutos cada 4 horas y media de conducción. Esto implica que los conductores deben elegir
el área de servicio adecuada para su trayecto y sujeta a sus preferencias particulares. Sin
embargo, no siempre hay plazas libres en las áreas de servicio seleccionadas por diversos
motivos. Esta situación produce una situación peligrosa para la vía, pues o bien el camión
aparca en sitios no autorizados o bien sigue conduciendo y, como consecuencia menos
dañina, podría ser multado.
En este TFM se define y desarrolla un sistema multiagente que permita a los camiones y a las
áreas de servicio coordinarse en las reservas de plazas de aparcamiento. En Capdevila M. et
al., 2013 [1] ya se ha desarrollado un primer sistema basado en la negociación; en este TFM
se propone abordar este problema con un nuevo sistema de coordinación de plazas. Se
desarrollará además una herramienta de simulación que permita evaluar las bondades del
sistema propuesto. [-]
