Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder very

origin, which affects the child’s or teenager’s or adult’s capacity of paying attention, of
regulating their motor activity (Hyperactivity) and of curbing their behaviors (impulsivity) affective alterations, both, motivational and emotional alterations. Moreover, these behaviors
interfere significantly in the academic results or in their work performance and daily activities.
The aim of this paper is to document the therapeutic process carried out in a clinical case of an
8-year-old boy diagnosed for ADHD and disorder of written expression and reading.
A multimodal intervention was conducted given the benefits observed in other investigations. It
encompasses three complementary areas (psychological, psycho-pedagogical and
pharmacologic) and it involved the family, the school and the child. After two years of
intervention that is observed is a great improvement in all areas.
For this purpose, some data about the assessment through a battery of psychometric tests
administered to the child is given, as well as interviews and questionnaires provided to the
parents and to the school teacher.with
greater frequency and intensity of what is normal according to the age and development of the
child. It has behavioral, academic, psychological and social consequences, which affect both,
the one from the person who suffers the problem, and the one from his/her family. It is
characterized not only by its cognitive dysfunctions but also by the existence of important [-]
