Even though non-verbal communication is the most common way of communication
used between human beings, people are not aware of its everyday use nor its benefits. It
is known that the use of non-verbal cues in classroom contexts will have a positive
effect too. The aim of this project was to demonstrate the influence of non-verbal
communication in those specific situations, in teaching-learning processes. The
methodologies used were a case study and classroom observation. The tools utilized
were two questionnaires and observation of teachers and students during their lessons.
The results clearly showed that the proper use of non-verbal cues by teachers will have
a positive effect on professors and their pupils. [-]
