Since last October I'm an intern in the company “Halcón Cerámicas" and taking the opportunity of perform my final degree about this company, I have chosen to do the academic work of "Professional" character, focusing mainly on human resources functions exerted by the department and study better the behaviour of the department, in my opinion this department has a very important function within the company, because nowadays I think that we are not given at workers the importance that they deserve, and the goal of this department is achieve that the workers be as efficient as possible and exercise good job to keep workers in the company and that they be happy with the company, since workers can be the difference between a well or badly performance of the company.
In addition I have also made a quiz that I would have done at the employees to study the degree of satisfaction with the company, but due to reasons of the department I could not do it.
In point 11 of the work also I propose possible improvements that could make the department in some of their HR functions.
The bibliography used in the work mainly is information provided by the company, especially by the human resources department. This department has collaborated offering me some manuals with the actions performed during the year, the training program conducted last year and often answering questions that I performed them to do a better job.
On the other hand I have also used several books that talk about human resources functions to understand better each practice and to adapt the actions taken by the company with the theory. Especially in points 8 and 9 of the work I have based on the theory since in these points the human resources department could not provide me too much information. [-]
