La localización de videojuegos en Alemania es conocida por las drásticas modificaciones visuales que se encuentran en los títulos publicados en este país. Diversas publicaciones han tratado esta cuestión calificándola de censura y argumentando como motivo principal de estas modificaciones que los organismos alemanes que lo llevan a cabo es debido por la normativa de protección infantil ante los medios audiovisuales. Este estudio pretende averiguar si este es la verdadera razón que lleva a Alemania a realizarlas y si es calificable de censura mediante el siguiente proceso:
-Informarse de la normativa actual alemana. -Analizar el organismo alemán responsable de estas modificaciones. -Comparativa visual del juego alemán con la versión original y la española. -Comparativa innovadora textual de la versión alemana con la original y la española.
Con la recopilación de toda esta información podremos determinar el verdadero motivo de estas modificaciones, si también el texto es modificado, cómo afecta esto al jugador y, por último, si estamos ante un caso de censura. [-]
